TELL US WHAT YOU’RE SEEING

Common MacBook repair enquiries

Contact us about screen, battery, charging, keyboard and trackpad issues, or liquid-damage evaluation. The available repair depends on your particular model and its condition.

Screen or display damage

Describe cracks, lines, flickering, or a blank display. Mention whether the Mac still makes startup sounds or works with an external screen.

Battery or charging problems

Tell us if the Mac works only while plugged in, loses charge quickly, or doesn’t recognize the charger. Include the charger and cable details if known.

Keyboard or trackpad issues

Note which keys or gestures don’t respond, whether the problem is intermittent, and whether it began after a spill or impact.

Startup, liquid damage or files

Share the exact error or startup behavior and whether a spill occurred. If data matters, say so before authorizing resets or other changes.

Before you bring in your MacBook

How do I find the model?

If your Mac starts, open the Apple menu and select About This Mac. Tell us whether it is a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro, its year, and the processor or chip shown. If it won’t start, tell us what you know; no serial number is needed in the form.

Can every MacBook receive a memory or storage upgrade?

Upgrade options depend on the model. Don’t assume memory or storage can be replaced independently. Provide your model so you can discuss compatible options before buying parts.

What should I bring?

Call to confirm what is needed. For charging problems, describe your charger and cable and ask whether to bring them. Tell us about any recent damage and your backup situation.

What will the repair cost and how long will it take?

Ask for an estimate based on the model, diagnosis and parts availability, including any evaluation charges and applicable repair terms. This page does not promise a fixed price, turnaround or warranty.
